General Terms and Conditions of Business
These General Terms and Conditions of Business regulate the legal relationship between you and Hotel Bristol. The reservation confirmation / the offer signed by you as confirmation serve as the basis. Offers are to be confirmed within 2-3 days. Offers for arrivals within the next 2 days must be confirmed within 3 hours. Hotel Bristol reserves the right to reassign the rooms once the option deadline has expired. Please let us know as soon as possible and in writing of any major changes to your reservation.
Cancellation conditions for sole travellers
If you have reserved a room without guaranteeing your reservation with a credit card, we will keep the room free for you until 4 p.m. on your arrival date. Should you not arrive by 4 p.m., Hotel Bristol can automatically reassign your room(s). When the hotel is busy, we reserve the right to only accept reservations guaranteed by a valid credit card. We check credit cards electronically. We cancel any reservations made with incorrect credit card details.
If you have guaranteed your reservation by means of a credit card and you cannot / do not want to use the reserved service, please cancel your reservation in writing by 24 hours of the arrival date at the latest (please request a confirmation). In the case of belated cancellations, no-shows, belated arrival or premature departure, accommodation will be charged for the entire duration of your reserved stay. Where necessary, however, we will only charge you / your credit card with a maximum of two unused nights’ accommodation (unless a special agreement was made). Should we manage to rent the room to a different guest, we will gladly waive our right to invoice you. The relevant reservation and cancellation conditions apply to reservations made via online booking platforms (travel agencies).
Payment conditions for sole travellers
You will be charged upon arrival the agreed room rate in advance for the entire stay. In the case of premature departure, the difference will be refunded in accordance with our cancellation conditions. We do not send hotel invoices abroad. Within Switzerland, we only send hotel invoices to companies and private persons upon request.
Cancellation conditions for groups
The following applies to groups of 10 or more persons:
- 2 rooms free up to 24 hours before arrival
- 0 – 7 days beforehand: 100% of the room rate
- 8 – 14 days beforehand: 75% of the room rate
- 15 – 30 days beforehand: 30% of the room rate
We require a deposit from groups (depending on the offer) to be paid 30 days before the arrival of the group. In the event of a cancellation, we will refund you the difference in accordance with the table above.
